Teen Leadership Council (TLC)

The Teen Leadership Council is an umbrella program that aims to bring together representatives from each of the Jewish teen organizations in the Ann Arbor area. Teens involved with the council will enhance their leadership skills through a variety of trainings and work together to plan two large events each year open to all Jewish high school aged youth in the community. The goal of the Teen Leadership Council is to bridge together the Jewish teens of Ann Arbor across denominations and make Jewish Ann Arbor a more unified community.

The Teen Leadership Council is made possible through the
Jewish Federation of Greater Ann Arbor’s generous 2011 Jewish Community Impact Fund.

Who can join the Teen Leadership Council?

The Teen Leadership Council (TLC) is open to Jewish high-school aged teens (age 14-18) who live in Washtenaw County and are active with local Jewish teen organizations. Jewish teens that are unaffiliated are also welcome to join.

What does the Teen Leadership Council do?

The Teen Leadership Council will participate in  regular leadership trainings from local Jewish organizations. The TLC will also plan one large event per semester that is open to all Jewish teens in Washtenaw County.
