JOIN THE JCC FILM DISCUSSION GROUP!

    

If the Jewish Film Festival leaves you hungering for more
opportunities to watch and discuss films with your friends, than this group is for you.

Each month, join Russell Collins, Executive Director of the Michigan Theater and co-host of WEMU’s Cinema Chat. Engage in lively discussion not only of movie plots and characters but also of the unique cinematic elements that send subtle messages to viewers. Films selected will include popular blockbusters, independent films, thought-provoking dramas, intense thrillers, and more.

Cost: $60 (JCC members)/$75 (non-members) for a year-long membership in the JCC Film Discussion Group (10 sessions) for the year (starting in September. The fee is pro-rated for participants joining after September.  This fee does not include the cost of your movie ticket.

How it works:

Step 1: Join the JCC Film Discussion Group and receive notification of what the film will be and where it is showing.

Step 2: View the film on your own anytime before the discussion group meets.

Step 3: Show up at the JCC on the 2nd Thursday of the month prepared for laughs, learning, and lively conversation about the film.

Step 4: Repeat each month.
