Shalom Programs

Shalom Ann Arbor

The Jewish Community Center's Shalom Ann Arbor program is here to assist relocating families and welcome them to the Jewish community. The Shalom Ann Arbor Welcome Package is an essential information packet for newcomers or those considering relocating to the city. It includes a copy of the Guide to Jewish Life, the most recent edition of Washtenaw Jewish News, information on activities in the Jewish community, and more. As a special thank you for becoming a member, we would like to offer either two tickets to an upcoming program (Jewish Book Festival, Jewish Film Festival, etc), a free Zumba class or a free enrichment class for your child.

Shalom Baby

Shalom Baby welcomes parents, their newborns and newly-adopted children into the Jewish Community Center of Greater Ann Arbor. Shalom Baby provides growing families with:

♦  A welcome gift bag full of fun and helpful gifts, information on parenting, and Jewish resources for parents and families, hand-delivered by a Shalom Baby Ambassador.

♦  A connection to create lifelong friendships for parents and children.

♦  Support from caring volunteers.

♦  A connection to your Jewish Community and heritage.
